Does anyone know of a low profile brake caliper ? From the top of the pad to the top of the caliper can be no more than 5/8". I am trying to set up the outboard brakes and squeeze them into the 12" rim. A standard 2 piston jamar is just slightly to large and a gear one will fit but with only a 1/16" clearance. I was thinking that sand would clear in those tolarances but was concerned with the rim flexing from a jump or impact with a foriegn object. The rims do have bead locks on them so that should help with stiffness but that is on the opposite side, we had to remove the reinforcing ring on the inside to accomadate for space.
Any help is aprreciated

Wilwood might have one. I'd recommend one but you didn't state if you wanted a four piston or two piston.

There are lots of great options but not normally found on buggies.

Wilwoods catalog (availible in PDF on their site) shows a lot of the dimensions of the calipers.
