I am in the process of building my interpretation of an ST4 buggy and I am starting to look ahead at the shocks. What are some options that are out there? I see the intended Fox shocks, but they are pretty spendy. Has anyone used something else with success? Is there a better source for the Fox shocks out there that I just haven't run across yet? Thanks for the help!

I did a little searching and came accross this...not bad.

Welcome to MBN.

You're going to want either a coil over so you can run springs or air shocks so you don't need the spring.
The airs will end up costing less overall as you won't have to purchase springs. That may be offset by the cost of a nitrogen charging system, though and you will need it with the air shocks.

Two places not to skimp or go cheap are shocks and brakes. The shocks are the heart of the suspension and cheapies can lead to frustration when trying to tune them. Your life depends on brakes.
