Hi all - any of you guys who are tall and/or bigger have suggestions to make riding the FL350 more comfortable? I'm 6'2" and a solid guy and its pretty tight. OEM seat is all the way back. I heard about aftermarket seats giving some leg room but no details.

Any tips from similar drivers?

I know the purest wont like my suggestion but you could cut it in half and make it longer.

I would think aftermarket seats would be bigger and actually hinder leg room

The Kirky dirt track seat may create more space, but at the expense of comfort. Have you taken out the rubber pad out at the very front of the foot well? That will give an inch of foot room.

I haven't taken that pad out yet. I'm new to the Odyssey, I just got it a couple weeks ago and havent had much time to tinker with it. I will definitely remove that pad and see how much that helps.

I also heard the Kirkey seat, sits more upright and your back straighter up giving another couple inches of leg room. I'll look into it.

Sitting up straighter could create head space issues.

like Ody said,,,,Kirkey racing seats can gain you quite a bit more room, depending on which seats you are comparing to.
I was comparing seats in one of our builds and it gained 3" head room and 2" leg room compared to the other seat I was testing

this is one that we use

Kirkey seats (http://www.protodie.com/Race-Seat_p_137.html)

you can buy mounts, or make mounts to set it at your desired lay back angle
I run the padded seat cover, which I think is quite comfortable

Is the Pilot seat thicker than the Ody? I have seen guys put Pilot seats in 350's. I'm sure it wont help your situation, was just curious because I'm 6'3"
