So, is there anyone on here that still has a Ridge Runner? If there is I could sure use some photos and measurements from an undamaged unit.

Most of everyone on here has custom built buggies. Ridge runner was a factory production buggy for a bit but I haven't seen many in awhile. Not sure if they are still in production.

But maybe we can help you get it going again depending on how bad the repairs needed are. Although Theres probably not alot of info on the net about direct over the counter parts, so you may have to go custom with it.

Where in so cal are you?
Im in LA, San Gabriel Valley, I do custom fabrication. If your local then maybe I can help you out. I took a crashed Roketa chassis and made it into something worthy of posting.

Well I'm trying, but every pic that I try to upload fails. Not sure what is going on with this website, but it doesn't seem to want my pics.

I use photobucket then copy the direct link and past it in the yellow mountain thingy that says "insert image" that works very nicely

I don't use any online photo sites, but I emailed you. If you respond then I can send you some pics via email.

Yeah, definitely work. Luckily I have more then one off-road buggy building friend here, now if I could just have some daylight.

I'll try to get a description of what I need and post it up.

it will be fun when it's done. The thing is a little rocket ship compared to my rhino!

I bet. Mine will probably be a bit slower being a 700, but should still hold its own.

Hi, I just picked one up about 3 months ago. It had a blown motor and got it for pretty cheap. I rebuilt the motor in about 2 weeks and its pretty quick, I like it a lot! Now to upgrade it :)

I still have one. And will be doing some modifications to it over the coming year. I am probably the longest running owner. I bought mine new in April 2006 when I got home from Iraq. Good use of my Reup money!

Hansshanks, I've looked through your buggy thread before, it looks like you have gotten some good use out of yours and I look forward to seeing your new mods.

Mine has been on hold for a bit as I don't have a garage space for it and it's dark by the time I am home.

What parts of the US (if you are in the US) are you guys in? I'm inland southern California.

I live in Boise now. The Ridge Runner was built in Nampa Idaho. Up until 2 years ago. I lived about 5 minutes from where their shop was located. Now I am in boise witch is about a 20 minute drive.

thanks jjensen. I am eager to get back to work on them. I am hoping first part of Nov to be ordering shocks to start moving again.

Hi-

I am in need of some suspension parts for a 2005 Ridge Runner I can't seem to find on the net and I am fairly sure they are unique to RR and not Polaris. Left front spindle, right side tie rod, the aluminum upright behind the (left side) caliper where the spindle goes through.

Any help would be appreciated,

David

(623) 516-8640 He may know what they are, where to source and/or how to get in touch with the guy that was behind Ridge Runner.
I've seen RRs in their place more than once over the years.

I forwarded your message and contact info on to Bruce. Hopefully he will get ahold of you. I will ask the local guys that bought my excess parts if they still have an upright and axle laying around. I converted my RR over to run Polaris RZR xp900 front suspension pieces.
