Just starting my AR51 build and have been searching for wheels to suit. It seems the 5 on 4.5 stud pattern is not the most common. Ive searched around a bit but I was wondering what wheels everyone is running and where did you find them?

Cheers[smilie=boogie.gif]

Try an EBay search for 12" or 14" Kubota wheels.
Not a huge selection, but they are out there.
I like these because you can get 12x8 rears.
Tire contact patch is wider when mounted on 8" width
I'm using these on my next build.

To add to what Rick said, also do a search for Vision UTV wheels.

Amazon.com: American Racing Outlaw II AR62 Machined Wheel with Clear Coat (14x7"/5x4.5"): Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CILSKG?ie=UTF8&at=&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links)

I used these in 6x14 front and 7x14 rear. I'm very happy with them.

Did you weigh those once you had wheel and tires on them? Just curious for comparison.

Hey what are the advantages of 14inch over 12inch wheels? (If any)

I don't know if there's any advantage but I didn't want to have such a tall sidewall on the tire. The AR51 has such great suspension I didn't see the need for the big fat ATV type tire I see most people running on this car. Mine is smooth as can be over the rough stuff and turns so flat and stable. I would think the taller the sidewall the more roll body roll you would get in the turns. This is all my opinion only with very limited experience so take it with a grain of salt;-)

Oh and I'm running 28" tires in rear and 26" in front and I have 155psi in front shocks and 255psi in rear.

They have some nice rims in that pattern for John Deere gator's on ebay. Pretty reasonable too
