View Full Version : South West Washington SS 1000 Build

03-16-2014, 03:28 PM

I am currently Building a Protolite SS 1000. This is my first attempt at building with metal. I have worked with wood for years and find that many of the skills overlap.

I am at a point where I am needing additional input, advice etc. from others, so I am starting a post. I have reams of pictures of the frame build, hopefully I can format them to work well in the post.

Well just thought I'd check in @ the "Welcome Mat" before I start my build thread in Projects in Process, See ya there.

Welcome, it's nice to see another member from Washington. You should be able to get all the help you need , there are several builds going on right now on here. Good luck, looking forward to see your pictures.

I've been looking at the ss1000. The more I look the more I like. I'm thinking it may be a good candidate for buggy #2!

Welcome, looking forward to the build. Good choice for a rail. Where in Washington are you located? Glad to see more NW people getting involved the sport.
