I am currently planning another F1/Indy car style build. It's going to be powered by a BMW 2.8L inline six cylinder engine and manual gearbox. I will also turbo charge the thing. It's going to be insane.
Thanks for watching and BUILD ON Mini Buggy Members, hope you've all had a great holiday season!

Those look awesome! Why do the wheels stick out further on one side?

The blue car, is an asphalt oval specific car. it's made for turning left on a banked oval. If you dial it in "flat", it'll go on a road course just fine. The red inboard suspension car was estimated to hit 168MPH but the fastest I ever got it was a little over 150-152mph before I ran out of room and the rear wheels started shaking a bit too much to stay in it. The blue one ran in a half mile oval, around 130mph on the straights, 90 or so in the corners. On the drag strip the blue one ran 10.95 and the red one was sold before it ran a drag.

Very nice!

I am also from the cleveland area. We used to run modified formula 440's at cloverleaf, lorain, midvale and barberton speedways back in the late 80's and 90's. We allowed 4 strokes up 750cc's and 2 stroke snowmobile engines up to 550cc's. Back then we were faster than the usac midgets, so I can only imagine what yours do!

Can you still rent nelson? It used to be 75.00/day on fridays.

I have been getting the itch to build another car. I'd bought a Piranha Chassis from someone on this site back in 2011 and gave it a CBR1000rr engine, it was very cool. I forget the guy I got the chassis from. RickS maybe?

Let me see if I can find a picture of it:

I'm currently undecided as to build another Asphalt racer or an off road buggy like this one.

Both of these cars were built and sold almost 10 years ago. I've done a million other things since then, but I've really been itching to build something else bike powered.
