I was looking at the manual thinking about the radiator when I noticed they referred to the oil cooler line as a water line? Crap, I have an oil cooler on the motor that has a water line running through it that goes back to the radiator. I have the original radiator and it has 4 inlets/ outlets so I assumed it had an internal oil cooler in the radiator. Wrong… So I have the big 1-1/4” line from the thermostat to the radiator, the 1-1/4” line to the pump, the small line to bleed off air before the thermostat, and I have the oil cooler line running to the radiator. I can drill and tap that bung at the top of the radiator for the bleed off but I wonder about the line back to the radiator from the oil cooler? I did a search here and it looks like I could tie that oil cooler line into the return coming from the thermostat. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

I took mine to a radiator shop and they had it ready to go in a day for $40. This included changing the 1.25" bungs to 1", and adding the other two for the cooler and bleed line.

You could tee it into your return line, but then you have more connections to fail.

I got a coupler from Rick tapped in the middle for a brass nipple to accept the cooler line.

I use steel/alum tube for my straight cooling lines, some curves too. Welded a piece of 3/4 to one of those drilled out the hole and BAM. Weld at an Y angle so the flow is better, less turbulance than a T.
