This is an open differential made by BMW for their early 70's 2002 models.
I don't have any history on this but it seems tight and turns freely.
I have the drive line also. Maybe you would just need 18" of it with the U-joint that matches the input. It is 50 lbs. weighed on my bathroom scale. 14.5" long, 8" high and 9.375" face to face at CV mounts. You pay shipping or pick up in Santa Rosa Ca. 95401
