Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a while, and I thought I would post up the build I've been doing for my kids. It's full suspension, 6.5 hp, I think I will start off with 12:1 ratio to keep the speed down.
First, the swingarm.

This is more or less as it sits this morning. Once the baby starts his nap I'm hoping to get some work done on the front end.

This looks like a really awesome project! Are you going to use a f-n-r box? What tubing size on the chassis?

I'm looking forward to following this build.

1) No, it's just going to be a centrifugal clutch, or maybe a torque converter if I have low-end issues.

2) It's 1" 16 gauge.

Lots of trial and error, (mostly error) and it's a rolling chassis! Now, my back hurts, it's beer time.

Well, I got it going, since this drive I have moved the controls away from the driver a bit. He was complaining that it was too close. I may have moved it a little too far, but this will give me room to put in some better seats. I am planning to add a small bed, seat belts, and a roll cage this weekend. It is currently geared at 33.7:1, Once both kids are comfortable and a bit older I can change out the jack-shaft sprockets to get more speed.

Finished. I'll probably take off the motor mounted jackshaft in another week or so and double his speed.
