Hey guys I'm sorry if this question has already been asked a few times but all of the key words were too short to work in the search.

Anyways I'm just going to give in and go with the FOX2.0's that way if I ever modify my suspension I can just change the air pressure to accommodate the extra force. However I was wondering what travel sizes have generally been used for the front and rear. I wont be home until then end of April so I cant measure them up myself and I'd like to get them ordered. Thanks in advance guys

Ask the designer. If anyone would know it would be him.

do you have plans for that??...pretty sure plans tell you which shock to use.

Sarcasm, it's a free service I provide.

Yea well its only the ST2-LT that uses the fox2.0's so the plans aren't really any help.

14" on the rear and 8.5" on the front, if I crossed the Fox part #'s right.

These are what he's recommending for the St2. I was planning on going with the Fox2.0 but does anyone have any experience with these? They seem like they would probably be pretty shitty.

ST2-LT uses Fox 2.0 Series Air Shocks, 1.25" dia shaft. Rear Shocks are Fox #980-99-020-A (14" Travel). Front Shocks are Fox #980-99-013-A (8.5" Travel). Pages E03 & E07 of both ST2-NG & ST2-LT buggy plans.

It's easy to adapt ST2-NG to accept ST2-LT shocks. That's actually how the design evolved over the years. ST = Sabretooth. ST2-NG = Sabretooth 2 Next Generation (updated chassis & suspension). ST2-LT = Sabretooth 2 Long Travel (Fox shocks, rod ends in front susp, increased suspension travel).
