The best part about all this is seeing the UTV crowd and listening to the different engine note compared to the PTL racers.

The UTV's just plain suck compared to PTL racers.

I love your cars. How do you like the Rigid LEDs?

Thanks guys ,

The LED lights were added by my customer after he got the buggies.

He said they were crazy bright and loves them

Those sand dunes are steep and fairly soft, your buggies seem to tear up them with ease. Very cool cars! Your customer must be very happy with his purchase.

Those videos should sell some buggies over there, Jody. They look great. Heck, if there was any money left in the US, they'd sell some here.

Wow... those things really tear up the dunes!

That looked like alot of fun.
They're doing it easy

The single seat has paddles on it, but the 2 seater is only running dirt tires / nobbies.

I am please with the dirt tires doing so well. The sand looks quite powdery in the video

looks like they are having a ball, some of those guys over there have way too much moola, hopefully some of their mates get jelous and order a few more from you. They can start there own Proto Class.

That is really cool.. and it looks like they don't even need any lights with how well that track is lighted up for them. But good choice going with the small LED light bar so not to have a lot of wind drag street racing with some big round off road lights up on the roof.

Looks cool and man that must be a blast.. very cool.
Ya like others said hopefully more people will order some frames now to go join them and have as much fun as there having.

What speeds were they achieving Jody?

07-31-2011, 03:30 PM
we keep hoping and working towards for a racing series :)

They have transponders tracking everything on the cars

Top speed one day was from a Porsche hitting 135mph

Our buggy hit 104 mph that day.
He is running 11th out of 18 cars

He is getting faster with more practice,,but I do not have the new stats yet

I have limit straps I have been testing to keep the car low and limit the travel.....make it more stable in the corners too
Don't need/ want 19" of travel on the road course,,,,but currently he is running without straps.

I need to send him some to improve his car handling and lap times.
also looking at 15" wheels with better asphault tires.
