View Full Version : FK spacers not up to par

Got a heap of stuff from Moore's Parts.
Bought some FK rod ends (heims) which from what I've read are very high quality.

The Moore's web site also lists Hi-Mis spacers which they list with FK (suffix) part no's. So I get some to try (thankfully I only got a small batch), assuming they were genuine FK parts, heck they've got an FK part no. and are right beside the FK rod ends!

Anyway, It's hard to believe these were made by the same people who make high quality rod ends. Half of them are oversize and just jam the rod end solid. But even worse, the hole in the centre is a very sloppy fit on a 1/2" bolt. Whoever made these things didn't even bore the centre right

I was just having a look around Protodie's site and noticed he also sells them, so now I feel guilty as well as ripped off . Protodie's are very well priced too!
All things being equal I'd prefer to buy from the guys on here to indirectly put something back into the site.
