View Full Version : Joyner Command Is Overheating

I have a 2006 Joyner Commando that keeps overheating. Sometimes it runs fine, the water circulates, then once I shut it off for a few minutes and then restart it, the water does not circulate. It seems I either have an air lock in the hose line or the water pump may be losing its prime. When it overheats, the water does not circulate, it just spits it back up through the radiator. Any ideas?

Wow! This is deja vu all over again.

Check out this recent thread for some ideas.

When I was trying to work out the air bubbles in my pickup, it would run at a normal temperature if I ran the heater at full blast. If I turned the heater off, it would start heating up again. Getting the air bubble out fixed my issue. Maybe it will fix yours.
