Wow you were really close to me.
I am just across the freeway on the other side of the 395.

We have a race in Barstow on March 21st.
Maybe you can come out with your car and play and test some more and we can meet up.
I would love to see your car.
Plus you can watch some great racing action and enjoy driving your car.

Show some pics and let us know how the car did when you get a chance.
Hope to meet up with you also.

Did you buy that almost complete from Bill in Michigan? cool car..

05-05-2009, 06:28 PM
yes i bought the plans from rorty and then found bill.w was selling his suprise no one bought it. we were at lucerne sat and drove it easy for about a hour and came in to see if anything was loose etc. took some spring pressure out of the back and ran good all day . only thing was the exhaust manifold bolts came loose so i will be drilling and wiring the bolts. thanks for the compliments on the buggy.

No, thats not my car! Its still sitting in the garage. Almost makes me want to finish it now. But that'll be buggy number 4 for me. I can only drive so many at once ;)

Does look darn similar though! I just need a seat, the steering rack, and front shocks and it would be done. But I've got to finish the 2 seater first, and probably sell the FL350

If anyone's interested in it, I've got a complete CBR600 F3 thats just waiting to donate its heart for it! Heck, the FL350 is also going to be sold soon.

hey greasemnky
i think his name was bill willot ive might of spelled his last name wrong but he was from michigan. he raced a sidewinder with a 650 thumber motor where i should of bought that from him to.

05-05-2009, 06:53 PM
I almost went and bought that car from bill, to say the least you stole it!! :)

05-05-2009, 07:14 PM
OH, SWbill was his old handle. I know exactly what buggy your talking about. I bought my first FL350 from him years ago. My name happens to be bill as well, and I have the "twin" to your car in my garage.

that sidewinder ended up selling for very very cheap from what I remember. He had it for sale for quite a while.

05-05-2009, 07:15 PM
sorry bugpac
i didnt mean to steal it from u but im glad i did its the only buggie when ur 6ft4in i fit with comfort. now i just got to get time behind the wheel.
thanks r6eric

thats him i lost his email when my computer crash he wanted me to send him some pictures when i was done i still got to do the bumper and when i get it powder coated i got the right dash for it u got to get it together it a blast to drive also down the road will get a rpm gear box dans not to far of the freeway coming home from work.

05-05-2009, 07:23 PM
hey greasmnky
is the bolt pattern on your rear wheels the 4x130mm if so where did u get ur rims ivebeen looking for a 12 inch rims to put paddles on.

05-05-2009, 08:06 PM
I believe mine is running cavalier hubs. Not sure what the pattern is. Got the tires/wheels new from bug. I actually just picked up a set of 25x12x12 haulers on wheels, brand new for 250! You can order "blank" wheels, and get them drilled. Usually runs 20-30 bucks a wheel to have someone do it. Or you can download templates and try to do it with a drill

05-05-2009, 08:33 PM
4 on 130 is available, the car i built that bill has, is nothing twin about yours and it...

05-06-2009, 05:19 AM
hey bug
who has the 4x130mm wheels ive talk to cms wheels and he has to see if he has tooling and douglas wont sell blank wheels. also if anyone has a rpm gearbox sitting they want to sell let me know
thank r6eric
