    If the paddy field is very wet and soft, you will want the most hp to weight ratio as possible. If it's very dry and smooth, you can get away with less hp to weight ratio.

    With 24 hp it should be able to that pretty easy I would think. The secret will be in the gear ratio. The larger the rear sprocket the more power down low, but the less top speed. The smaller the rear sprocket, the less power down low, but the more top speed. Going too small will effect both top speed and low end power. The Chinese buggies do about 64KPH/40MPH but don't have much low end power at all.
