AR51/RC51 Final Assembly

Figured I'd start a new thread for the final assembly of this car.
Picked up the frame, panels, and suspension parts from powder coat last friday. Picking up the zinc plated parts tomorrow. All flat black and chrome powder coat on this one.
Assembly should go quick once I have the zinc parts.

It's a race to the finish. I will not have much time to work on mine in the next week, so you'll likely complete yours first. It's starting to look like the blaster/painter guy is going to want a couple weeks to do his thing, so I may be stripping and roller painting in my garage like I was planning to originally. The flat black on yours looks sharp.

Do you make the front bonnet or buy it from the Edge?

Got the bonnet from The Edge.
It was used on my design because the first prototype (front end) was designed to replace the Piranha front end.

Got the front buttoned up.


Rear going together too. Had some of the parts black zinc plated. Really like how the black zinc looks. The bead blasted parts (in black zinc) match the flat black powder perfectly.
