    Justin,

Great to see you taking the plunge. After watching Rick and Jason putting their AR51s through their paces up north, what other choice could you make?

Oh yeahhhhh! I am planning on a GSXR 1000, and the other will prolly have a Ducati motor. Gerry has a woody over running something different. We shall see.

The GSXR 1000 is a great motor in this car. I've been driving the RC51 car and it has a completely different feel. Pulls hard in all gears, but doesn't have that throw you back in the seat power band like the GSXR.
It's so torquey its kind of jerky.
It's by no means slow, just not what I'm used to.
I need to take it somewhere like tin cup or maybe Baldwin to get a better feel for it.

From what I know of motorcycles and the experience I had with my gsxr 750 and Rick had with his RC51, I'd say GSXR 1000 all the way. It takes very little work to make a GSXR harness work on a buggy.

I plan on getting the second Cuda done this winter as well. If I was starting from scratch, it would have been an AR51 (not that I'm complainin' about the Cuda) The design is worked out soooo much beter than the edge plans.

I'm still learning to drive the GSXR 1000. After watching Rick drive his (and hearing the videos) I was not pushing mine any where near it's limits. Keep up posted on the build Justin ....

Another set of twins! SWEET! And he couldn't get much different than a Ducati.

Any interest in driving Baldwin on the Silver Lake trip coming up? Wolf Lake Resort has Baldwin trail access from their lot if we want to do a two day trip.

Leo, it sounds like your experience was like mine with the power those things make. You can drive at 3/4 throttle and go very fast. That last 1/4 of throttle must be very spectacular! You could use some wide open space, or a track, to get comfortable with the limits of that awesome machine.
    I race, therefore I am
