Bedeaton You are correct 4 stroke fuel injected the motor should fit I lengthen the frame by 5.75 inches from behind the seat when I built the chassis just to give me room for the 2 stroke exhaust pipe. Rick's put a 1000 cc inline 4 gsxr motor in one of his AR 51 . The apex engine even with the primary clutch is not that much wider than the 700 Polaris engine. Just have to figure out the engine cradle frame work and machine new side pieces to hold jack shaft and axel bearings and the chain case and I should be golden. I machined the engine mount bushings tonight now I need some steel for the frame work then I can start doing some gas in ta's

    Good to see you Sodman.

Looking forward to seeing some new vids with your new engine.

I drive through some very large sod farms on my way to work everyday. All I can think of when I see them is....CR500!

Hey sodman are you planning on using the chaincase from the apex? Or using the existing chaincase you already had in it? I'd like to see pictures of how you got that thing in there.

Sodman whouldnt it be easier to just bight the bullet and get a RPM box & eliminate the jack shaft . You would have plenty of room to mount the apex and box into your existing frame compaired to what you got gonin on now with the pissaris set up
The question is not if its gona roll. Its when ..

That be some kind of church cruzzer or commuter bike thingy ?

Two months and I'm finally getting some work done on this engine transplant . It's taking me longer than I thought it would but slow and steady wins the race . Here's what the cradle sub frame looks like http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/o...psemt1dpxj.jpg
A few more with the motor bolted in and the side pieces on http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps8xayya4q.jpg
