The Colorado River is the border between CA and AZ
but no where near Gordon's Well

But GW does have the American Canal that goes all the way north to Glamis Oarallel to the Sand Hiway

We spend the winter in Ogilby which is directly east from GW

I lived just a few hours from Glamis for about 14 years...never was able to spend much time there. But I had a blast when I did.

I was in Yuma last summer. Spent the day at gordon's well and buttercup with my brother. I think we were the only idiots out there on a 110 degree day. BTW, I was surprised to see the colorado river on the border. For how well known it is, it sure was small.

Vegas uses all it's water.
During the week in the winter we have miles of dunes to ourselves

It's true, they try to pump as much life as possible into Lake Mead without completely draining the river, but it's still shrinking.
