Any reason you couldn't turn the unit upside down and run the chain over and below the output flanges? This would give you a longer chain for cooling...

MY guess is its already upside down due to the orig. FWD application right, since it used to be facing the other direction? or does it run ok right side up?

Never mind I just looked cloer at the pics, its already R.S.U.

So how do you shift that transmission? How is the linkage setup? Seems like it could be kinda complex. Maybe not?

Also, have you broke one of these trannys yet?

There is a VW mid engine shifter in the stock location which shifts much easier than the VW

And a paddle shifter on the steering wheel. So I usually run with the Honda in 3rd and start clickin the Boosa.

I have no fear of breaking it it's tough and I use the best lubricants

I gotta agree that if you could fit a drive CVT to the Hayabusas output and a driven to the Trannies input it would be quite impressive. Also that a typical sled belt would fare better than the cogged tooth belt.

What I love is Harley riders who tell me that Harley HAD to go to the cogged belt drive cause The bikes torque would tear a chain up. LOLOL Bill

So the honda tranny is shifted with 2 cables?

How far apart do the output flanges end up being apart?

What's even funnier is the dudes with the 4" wide primary belt "to take the torque" and the 1.25" wide final drive belt after the tranny and gear reduction.

My 930 flanges are 10.75 apart and the honda shifter is a piece of 3/4 with 2 universals
