I found a good one yesterday and bought it, thanks for the info. Just curious, what forward gear do you find that you keep the Honda tranny in most often? I am assuming you tend to leave the Honda transmission in one forward gear and then shift the motorcycle transmission when driving around true?

In the Oregon dunes I use 3rd but at Glamis it's 4th

Just curious Rowy on what you gave for your tranny? I know its a different part of the states but how much if you don't mind? They want $250 plus here and thats buried in a car and I have to remove it. I might need to have you guys snag a couple and ship them.....lol It might be cheaper. Thanx Bill

It was $105.00. It was already out of the car. 82k miles on it and it looks to be in good condition outide, not sure about the inside. Junk yards here wanted $250 to $350 depending on miles/condition. This one was from a private party who is parting out a wrecked sedan and I just got lucky and happened to see it in the local little nickel want adds.
