Welcome to MBN Kenny110482. I have not seen a Gmaxx frame thread or finished car so you could be the first. How wide a car are you considering?

Well the gmaxx frame i believe is thirty inches wide for the cabin. I am 6'1" so if i have to do some slight modifications to the frame i am ok with that. Not sure on the size for the front a-arms. im looking for about 15" to 20" of travel with 10" or so for ground clearance. I want it about the width of a side-by-side. As far as the price goes i dont want to be stingy. I figure around $10,000 on the high end. RPM box-gotta have reverse. With a hayabusa. I know i know everyone is going to say to big but i would rather go to big than to small. Thanks for the support guys.

Kenny,
Sounds like you have some ideas and plenty of work to do. So far you have about $6,000 spent between the engine, FNR and frame. If you bring it in under 10k it will be a good model for others to examine.

Suggest reading up on suspension threads to get an idea of what it takes to make one of these steer. The RPM is a solid axle so the front end needs to be right.

If you buy some Rorty Plans you could get a good design front and back to adapt to the GMAXX. It would be worth the dough.

We are trying to by a house right now so that is what is holding me back from my dreams of spankin the first V8 buggy I see at sand lake.
