Hey Rat4020, It has been done. I know of two revolts that had the Nytro 3 cyl engine put in them. I kicked around the idea but funding, at the time, forced me to go the turbo route. So, figured I would try the turbo set up and if it wasn't what I wanted I could always do the conversion.

    Welcome again Frank!

The picture looks great, I have always really liked the Redline and wished they would have made it to prime time..

I happened on the Wasteland Performance shop a few weeks ago, seems there is a wealth of Redline info and parts there. Have you dealt with them at all?

I have a 2001 Taz with the Apex. Its pretty fast now without Turbo. Do you have any pics you could share of the Turboed engine in the Taz? Thanks

The turboed Apex in a Coyote (same size/weight as a Taz) was the most impressive acceleration I’ve ever experienced. I wasn’t able to get my vision to adjust fart enough out to keep up the change in speed. It was a rush!

    Hi again mech_head6,

Yes, it is unfortunate that they never made it. based on my experience, tinkering with this buggy, it's apparent that someone had a vision.

I have spoke to the guy that owns Wasteland (Chad). He was associated with Redline (not really sure of his depth of involvement) and has all the parts from the factory when it closed up.

Do you do brake set ups on the side ? Would like to hire you to do some calculation / verification on the redline braking set up. Let me know?

    Frank

I met Chad very briefly recently, but didnít get to talk Redline with him unfortunately. Saw a bunch of cars and parts that had me distracted though.

Yes, I am pretty well versed in brake setups. Send me a pm with some info including what braking setup is on the car to start with, Iíve never seen one enough to study it.
