If he was trying to sell you one of the rails he currently has, he paid a ton for shipping to get them there quick, over 17k for the black rail alone for airfreight, which is prob. where the price increase is.
For overseas customers, there is a 1k additional fee over the pricing on my website for any new rail ordered (plus shipping), which covers the leg work I have to do to get it loaded and secured in the cargo container, a well as the paperwork and title fees for the vehicle. |

![]() I guess that should explain it. Well, as dealer/distributor of couple of manufacturers in US and Japan, I gave him couple of tips in regards to shipping "oversees" since I ship on regular basis from US, Japan and Hongkong (radio control stuff and fuel). I told him how to deal with import customs as well. Yoshi, you should come here for couple of months.. Build couple of rails. The steel is cheaper in here I guess. (not sure). Busa motors with wiring harnesses are cheaper too. Just bring couple of RPM/Jeffco differential and couple of shocks and other goodies. My guess is, you will double your profit and it would be a nice holiday and LOTS of fun |
