NewBe Introduction

Hi to all!
I am relatively new to the MiniBuggy world, although not new to off road fun. I have been involved in dirt bikes and quads since I was a little tot and wheel my truck excessively. I have been toying with the idea of a mini for a while and since I am currently laid up with a shattered knee (from an off road mishap) I found this site while doing some searching for info. I must say this is an absolutely fantastic site so far and I look forward to wringing it out for tons of info. I am a qualified welder and have worked in industrial type fabrication shops so I do know my way around most things mechanical but am wanting to learn as much as possible. Living in northern CA, I travel mostly fire roads and trails, not much experience with sand. OK, enough of me for now, thanks for the opportunity to introduce myself!

Sorry to hear about your knee! That is one of the reasons why I started snooping around too. Too many injuries to risk more(broken neck!). You'll find all sorts of info here, and if you can't find it, just ask. There's always someone here with an answer.

Welcome to the site!

Everyone keeps telling me that "With age comes the cage!" - I'm still not sure what age that is... I'm almost 45 and still ride in the dirt every chance I can. Yea, I have a cage around me at times too, though...

Heal up and get back out there in the dirt where we all belong.
