Welcome to the place. Make yourself at home!

I cannot help yah with a recommendation for the long travel Rhino suspension on your other post but someone will pipe in soon enough.

Any ideas on what you want to build? Any you are familer with or do you need/want a list to look at? :]

To each his own for shifting (I would prefer an Automatic myself. But hey thats ME!)

While not a Mini one of the best units I have seen for a V-8 is SandRockets.

Sand Rocket - The Ultimate V8 Sandrail - Welcome to SandRocket.com

A design like that is easy to mimic and IRS rear ends in BIG cars are cheap in the salvage yards (Especially cheap compared to a Mendeola!)

Anything smaller to fit a V-8? Not really. You wanting front or rear engine? Rear engine means a $$$$ tranny to live behind any kind of power.

Some of those are bigger sized and looking but it adds needed stability a V-8 needs for the speeds it will be able to hit. A tad smaller could be built if doing it oneself.

There is a Fellow on here making a V-8 powered semi mini (I guess its that lol)
He started with a bike motor then stepped it up. But as for someone building rollers. No idea at this time.

Mini Truggy Build

Later in the thread you can see his step to the V-8.

Yoshi just put two cars up for sale. One is a roller. The other's a turn-key I believe.
