Default New and looking for ispiration...

Hello out there! I'm pretty new to the site and just can't stop coming back and continuing a search for inspiration for building a Class 1 Lite buggy. I'm going back and forth between what I want to build...and really don't even know if my debates are even valid with mini buggies vs. full size. Desert Racer or Sand? Build tough to take a beating...or lite for sand? Busa or Ecotec...or go for the overkill and go for a Vortec V6 in a mini? A arm or Trailing arm rear? Length of the car? Plan my own or use someone like Rorty's...or buy a chassis from Tut or Yoshi and build up from there??? I think this is the start of a great adventure. If anyone out there has any input on how to start narrowing the questions down I'd really appreciate it. I'd love a dual sport/purpose 2 seater mini that can enter and hopefully win a few races...maybe SCORE???... Reliable, powerful, and fast... I'd love to give a few monster buggies in Glamis a run for their money. I know there are class limitations if I do choose to race...will that ruin a sand car?...maybe I'll just have to build 2 buggies for different tasks. So many decisions and building a dream car...

Welcome to MBN! You are at the right place to learn about the range of cars discussed on this site.

The answer is not simple. Add Tut-Tech to your list because he builds real race cars.

Keep looking and reading!

That's funny man... I'm open to checking your stuff out for sure... only thing is I'm thinking that I want to go with the Ecotec instead of a Hyabusa... Are you able to work with that Yoshi?
