ya i just barely posted 3. one is of the 2003 r1 motor fuel injected, the guy we bought it from says it needs a fuel pump, he recomended a walbro 155 at about 42 psi. whats your take? and doesnt this motor come with a psi regulator so i could get an after market one with like 120 psi and the regulator would adjust that according to the throttle position? I dont know as you can tell this is our first go round so if any one has good info let me know please.

I don't know how it works on the R1 but it seems like if it is tied to TPS then the computer is talking to the stock fuel pump and it would have an internal regulator.

On my 'Busa engines once I dump the stock fuel pump I have to get an independent regulator and gauge.
