Default Time to see if this is a dream, or a nightmare.

Hi everybody,
Well about me,hey I like that all about me.Just kidding I'm from a little town called Forks Washington,if you have tweenage kids you've no doubt heard of it already.sorry about your luck. This will be my first rail, well hopefully.I'm a heavy equipment operator by trade,if burns dead dinosaurs i can run it.Living at the end of the earth you learn to do it yourself, but I have lots of fabricator friends.I bought plans for a buggy ino. cheetah,so we'll see if I can make it work.I haven't seen anything good on here about them,so I guess I'm the test pilot. With Your help maybe I wont just be recycling steel.
thank you, stu

Welcome to the madness, Stu!

Ask away when you have any question at all - someone here will answer you.

Read as much as you can on other project Cheetahs - there are some really good mods and upgrades that some of the guys have done.

Don't be afraid to toss out new ideas that you may have. Often someone new to the fab world, who's not been around the "standard" thinking comes up with some really creative ideas.

Make sure you can get your hands on the proper tools - like tube benders and coping setups. Makes things so much easier.

Share away on your build too - start up a Projects in Progress thread and you'll enjoy going back over it once you've spent the better part of a year building your ride. It's a lot of fun.

Once again, Welcome!
