the buggy is 1300 lbs. and it has 33 in. yokohama super digger III on it so it should be a pretty good test, although it may be a couple of weeks before I actually get to really test it, but I'll take pictures and give everyone a report as soon as I get it hooked up.

So I installed it last night and got a chance to just drive it around in a smooth dirt area. It was great, very easy steering, not jerky at all. You really cant tell its there, its just easier to turn. We'll see how it works out on rough stuff in a week or two.

so we got a chance to test it in some rough stuff. we did about 15 5-10min. runs while we were tuning the shocks. the terrain was rough sharp desert style whoops made by motorcycles, so they were pretty sharp, deep, and higher frequency than you usually see out in the desert, there were a fair number of tight turns as well. The steering performed very well. We had no problems with it. The steering motor got hot but not so hot that you couldnt put your hand on it. The car needed a steering damper before and still does although the kickback was reduced. I would recomend it for a minibuggy. I got the polaris Ranger kit and there were plenty of parts to adapt to my application. I got mine from polyperformance.com I would recomend them as well.
