I remember seeing those pics. I guess I just didnt put 2and 2 together. I thought the angle or lack of was a liitle odd.

My shox came in yesterday. man they are big. I guess I'm just use to my bike shox.

Fox2.5 12" in the front and 2.5 14" in the rear.

A head-on picture would tell the story. From this picture it appears the shocks ran past 90* vertical for droop. Past discussions are that it is not the way to go.

Maybe Brian or Enemy can speak to this by telling how much stroke and travel. I do know from past posts on this version of the DS that it rides and drives well.

I too would like to see this pic. I am not sure what you are referring to. the 2.0's are not enough shock for the rear weight of enemy's rail with busa motor, turbo, jeffoc reverse box and the added weight of the heavy duty steel h-arms etc etc. every little bit of weight adds up fast. the 2.0's would get hot and fade because of these factors, with the 2.5 in the rear, re-valved and with more oil capacity they are handling everything he throws at them. the 2.0's on the front are great though.

just short of 3:1 actually. the rear 1.8:1. the front has had no problems with the shocks in the set up in the pic.

410 psi and @ +10cc's

A pic from a previous tread for I believe after looking around my house for my camera, my now booted-over-the-weekend EX walked off with the damn thing!!*#@

Thats 4 degrees of lean. SO... if all my suspension is incorrect, and correcting it would be 10x better than it performs now, I want to meet this guy, cause he is a friggin god if he can accomplish what DS already has....

The question was if 2.5's will work from The Kar Audio Guy. Will they? Yup, overkill in most instances.. but sometimes necessary and that's proven..

If the shocks were setup right, you should have about 200lbs n2 in them fronts, i cant imagine the car is that heavy, More air more heat...I would love to see one professionally built car besides yours that has a 3:1 ratio on the front shocks...

I bet if the lower mounts in the pic were moved out a couple inches and the upper mounts dropped a couple inches, the n2 pressure could be dropped. But I'm no expert, I have yet to actually buy shocks intended for these things.

rounding up I see. at 200 psi, mabey a 1:1 or so ratio with no occupants. do you really think the front end of a mid engine rail is that light with two men in the seats? factory pressure is 250 psi out of the box when I recieve them.
