50/50 mix of regular antifreeze and Alumiseal ALUMINUM radiator sealant.Mix well.Put about 1 cup in the tire and drive it for a while.Clean out ALL the slime first.

Some guys mix up water and alumaseal (meant for radiator)... I've never done it, but lots of guys swear by it. do a google/glamisdunes search to get the exact recipe.. Your problem is not uncommon- good luck.

Where is your leak exactly?
If it's at the beads,I use silastic.Clean both rim edge and tyre bead, thinly smear some silastic on both mating edges and inflate and leave for 24 hrs. I did mine on some OEM old and bead damaged tyres/rim from my 350 Ody a while back as a temp repair. It doubles as a beadlock and flexible sealer. It handled ALL my driving/jumping for over 7 months, till I remembered that I should get a new tyre...Baz |

Leave it in. If AND when it tries to leak it will quickly seal up any future leaks. The stuff will not harm the tire or be corrosive to the wheel nor will it dry out. Works especially at sealing up beadlocks.

Last year i finley got tired of airing up my riding mower rear tires every couple of weeks and took my wheels off axle and sumeraged in tub of water to find out that both tires were leaking at the bead, which didn't suprise me but also found out that air was coming out of sidewall in several places( one place around the lettering on sidewall) Probabley from running over stoubs and hittint the fence posts. The leaks in the sidewall explaines why the slime never worked( slime only seems to work on the tread area)so i laid the tires on one side for an hour then turned them over for an other hour to let the slime work on sidewall leaks and the beads, long story short answer is they have been holding air for 13 months now.
Just got to get slime to where the leaks are, right... |
