Default atv front suspension parts

I am planning a 2 seat buggy for the trails of S.C. and Tenn. for my son. More experienced in vw rails and atv's. Have a 660 yamaha raptor engine to use. The question-- Will the front a-arms,spindles,etc. from the 4 wheeler work O.K. on a buggy? All help is appreciated.

Study up on geometry vs wheel travel and your questions will be answered....But yes they have been used sucesfully in the past...

Its commonly done on the FL350's. The easiest way is to measure everything on the quad, and transfer it exactly to the buggy the same way. Its even been done where guys will cut the whole front frame and transfer it to their buggy to make sure nothing moves. Assuming your not going to be airing this thing out, it should work fairly well.

Hi dlarryk1,

I'll second what greasemnky said "...measure everything on the quad, and transfer it exactly..." and add that you should plan to use the tires and wheels from the same quad to keep the scrub correct.
