I need some advice on the limit straps I am going to mount.
Typically I have seen the adjustable mount for the strap on the top and just a tab for the bottom on the trailing arm but I would like to swap that around and out the adjustable mount on the trailing arm and the tab on the frame.
The strap would be parallel to the shock.

Does it really make a difference?

    TIA,
    JJ

Other than having to stand on your head to adjust them?, nope.

I've been wondering about this part of mounting limit straps. I'm sure it all depends on what time of room and mounting points, but would shooting for 90* at full droop? Like for rear trailing arms, the the straps frame mounting point would come from the rear?

When I said parallel to the shock I meant at the same angle.
Will post a picture when I get it on spot welded

While the differance in weight between the two ends IS small they claim that loosing one pound off the moving suspension is like loosing ten pounds off the chassis.

Unsprung weight vs sprung weight and all.
