Default Anyone in the Pacific NW know of a good shop tht dynos shocks?

I'm on Western Washington University's Baja SAE team, and for the last few years, we have been using Elka shocks, and while they have worked great, we have found their customer service to be less than stellar, and we need to find someone who can do a preliminary test and tune of our shocks. In addition, we are transitioning away from the Elkas, and I am wondering what manufacturers some of you would recommend. We would like to stick with coilovers, and I am presently looking at offerings from Custom Axis Shocks and Works Performance.

Here is a picture of the last car to use Elkas at Baja SAE Oregon 2009:

Contact Neil at ATV Racing and ask him about the shocks that Crash is now making. (no I'm not joking - ask about Crash's shocks.)

Crash, as he's called at ATV is Mike Hallock - the guy who originally designed and made Custom Axis. Really great shocks until Penske took them over. Once that happened, they quickly became a less than stellar unit.

As always, it's very hard to beat Fox for a shock - any shock. Coil over, air, air over coil, bypass. They make good stuff and are very reasonably priced. Doug Heim sells them here on the site.

Additionally, I would highly recommend Kris Barr at Oregon Motorsports, Portland, OR. Oregon Motorsports 2000 Inc. Home Page

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll be in contact with these folks after talking more with this year's lead designer. If you've got more advice, then by all means, keep it coming.
