Default Best street suspension

Me a a few friends plan on building a buggy made for the street. Kind of like a "Kart Buggy" if you will. It's gonna be a 2 seater with wide tires and a GSXR1000 motor. We're hoping to build it as a street machine that can also be used for a little mild offroading. There are any dunes here in Iowa so it won't be seeing any sand.

My question is what do you guys think is the best kind of suspension for a street machine like this?

I wouldn't generally consider running a single a-arm setup on anything, but especially on a vehicle that would be primarily on road.

The change in camber from a single a-arm setup would make the car very challenging to deal with.

I am just waiting for Nutz4sand to post the link to the RC suspension tech place...

Suspension geometry is less forgiving on the road and becomes increasingly difficult (and $$$) to get it right. Do your research to make sure you'll have what you want when it comes time to fabricate.

lol rc design, gotta love it.

The scale equiv would be jumping a 3000hp trophy truck over the grand canyon falling short slamming the far wall bouncing 17 times before coming to a rest on the wheels at the bottom and driving away from it with only cosmetic damage...he he he

You should seriously consider making it pavement only full blown asphalt killer you can take your truck to the dirt.
I have been wanting to see someone do that for some time.
