I know a little about alignment angles due to my auto background but what caster and camber do you shoot for at ride height and I am stumped on what the goal is for camber change through travel my thoughts are to try to have the angles not change as much as possoble school me here.

As the tire rises you want MORE NEG camber to be induced. WHY?
In a straight line over a jump it seems you would want the wheel to stay straight up and you do. BUT. BUT as you corner hard the body leans OUTWARD as does the tire try to. This causes you to want the tire to lean inward at the top of tis travel more more as the outer arm is compressed with vehicle cornering weight. If the tire did not lean inward more it would lean out more with the body and have poor traction and try to roll off the rim easier.

Camber gain depends on the amount of wheel travel/body roll. 2-4* on limited travel cars and up to 7-10* on larger travel vehicles.
Caster 6-8* range at ride height. Caster gain in bump or anti dive gets a little tricky. |
