Need some advice from the pros. I want to build some trailing arms for my side by side buggy-
I will be using an RPM box 930 CVs I hear mixed opinions on mounting angle , some run no angle (90 deg to the wheel) Will the CVs plunge enough? What is a good stub axle kit at a reasonable price? is the EMPI one OK? can I purchase the weld in bearing carrier flange? Any tips before I start would be greatly appreciated! |

Well I will kick it off yes you can buy the weld on flange and bearing/cv protector..
Kartek has them as kits ready to go for the different style micro stubs etc. Not sure about empi yet have not heard of anyone using them yet.. Most of the people I know and set up arms make them 90 An angled pivot tube that your arms connect to help with angle and keep the wheel more in line as it travels through its cycle. Something you can do and make your arms match up to it. Instead of adding angle to the flange or arm. Anyways I am sure more people will post soon. Good luck and keep us posted. Please share what works best for you. Thanks. ![]() |
