Default help with trailing arms

Well I spent 10 hours on the car today and all I got is a mess and less tubing. I have a question on making trailing arms. When making them do you set the out side carrier the one to the wheel to full drop or bring it up to where its center between the forward mounts where you bolt them into the car? I made a jig but I f#&*ed that up to. Do you have some pictures of any jig’s that you have made? I’m back to using a round carrier no because the 3/16 plate that I made I cut it to short. The round carriers are some thing like yoshi has. Told you I had a bad day!
