Hmmmm ok, doesnt seem like midwestcontrol sells pull only cables, even custom, I'll look into the site you recommended

Edit: You sure I shouldn't use a push-pull? I see multiple buggy sites listing push-pull cables as throttle cables...

    Kartek

    Moore Parts

Many other sites selling these too, and I can't for the life of me find anyone selling pull only throttle cables that aren't custom to order. This doesn't seem as straight forward as it should be haha

My guess is that the cables you see at Kartek, Pacific Customs, and EMPI are more geared for the VW and automotive applications maybe? My only logical thought is that the bikes originally had cables, so i went that direction.

I used a stock atv cable, just happened to have right barrel and adj part fit my zx12. It runs over and down between seats. Then a standard braided cable is attached runs straight to pedal. There is a company that makes custom length cable with correct fitting on ea end, as some friends got em on their m/c cars.

Ok thats what I was figuring, VW buggys and not sand rails. I have both stock throttle cables, they're really short though, probably not long enough to even reach the floor so I'll have to order me up a custom one. Thanks guys.

here is a link to what I use in our SS buggies

    http://protodie.com/Throttle-Cable_p_170.html

I just noticed the category has been hidden on the website and fixed that

    on the GSXR motors:
I drill the stock throttle body hole slightly bigger to fit the brass barrel on the throttle cable, then the double nut on the threaded end of the cable locks right in to the throttle body mount where the stock cable was.
I also add a return assist spring

on the gas pedal end of the cable, I weld a tab with a hole to the frame to position the cable where I want it,,, in relationship to the gas pedal

then I drill a small hole sideways thru a 5/16 or 3/8 bolt. I put this bolt thru the side of the gas pedal plate at a height to match pedal and throttle body throw
then put the cable thru the side ways hole in the bolt and use 2 jam nuts to pinch the cable tight

    hope this helps
