Default Doug Heim's Piranha Progress

I have not used this forum much in the past. I hope to start using it more often. I wanted to start by sharing pictures of my current build. I am about 90% complete. Took most of the summer and even more planning. You can see clearly I have changed alot from the Plans. The power plant is a 2002 RC 51. I hope you enjoy. Any feedback is greatly appreciated good or bad. Later Doug

Beautiful craftsmanship Doug. You have made yourself what looks to be a heck of a nice car.

Welcome Doug! I only looked at the first two pages, but it's apparent you have done a fantastic job.

Real nice work Doug. I like the changes you made from the original Pirrahna, really dresses it up.

Thanks a ton Guys! I really do take great pride in my work and yes I am a machinist by trade. The pics really do not do the machine any justice. Pics of the first car??? This is my 12th go-cart / buggy. What ones do you want to see? some of my past work can be seen here...

To you guys in MI, I would really like to make it over to Silver Lake one weekend next Spring so keep me in mind when planning a get together. I have a ton of access to machinery and CNC equipment and I love helping out anybody I possibly can. If anyone needs a part made please feel free to ask and I would be happy to shoot over a price. I am cheap in a good way. Anyway I gotta jet, It was nice to hear the compliments. keep posting here and I will reply. I am still getting use to the format of this Forum. Does anyone know how I can set it up so i get an E-mail when there is a reply to anything I post? Thanks. Doug Heim

Default Hi Doug

Great looking build and it is obvious you are very precise and take great care in what you do. Congratulations, you set the bar very high.
