Wow, didn't know that there were companies out there that did this. Some of the motors sold by the Sport Racer guys come with car kits already.
These guys sell motors complete with everything needed to build a car. http://www.jomotoparts.com/

Another good link--Peter D Motorsports...I think I am going w/ their fluidyne radiator kit (but not sure). There are ALL sorts of mini sprint/ motorcycle powered circle track cars out there. Lots of parts just takes some $$$.

I thought about sending my harness out to have the work done to it but I thought that if the rail stopped I would have no way of diagnosing where the problem might be. I did some inguiries on the net and got all of the answers I needed to modify my harness and have replacement resistors on had just in case one of them frys.
The stock ignition switch on GSXR's have a anti theft provison built in to them... a resistor between the switched +12 volts and the ECM. This is to prevent hot wiring of the machine. I dont know if other makes models have this too. It took about a week of retracing all of my wiring to verify that it wasn't something I did wrong, then I came accross an obscure post on a motorcycle forum that mentioned it. The factory diagram/schematic dose not show it anywhere, for obvious reasons... kind of keep this in the back of your mind when you are all hyped up and ready to fire her off and she cranks over but no spark or fuel. |

My F2 harness did not have anything of the sort...No anti theft stuff.
See...I got a manual on CD off of Ebay...and learned as much as I could about the engine before i tried anything. I literally studied the wiring diagram for hours...just because I wanted to learn. The first time I fired the engine...it was with the whole harness..."hot wired"...all i really needed to do was bypass the side stand/kickstand switch. I was gonna trim up the harness myself...but then someone mentioned hyperracing.com to me and said they would do it for $125. And it would save me time. Which it surely did. The simplified harness I got back from them was so basic...and just plain simple. It is not a fuel injected engine...so that right there makes it very simple(but tuning carbs all the time sucks). Even though I did not trim it up myself...I still know what is going on. I also found a forum call the Honda Sport Bike Network...dedicated to all honda sport bike of course...there are some very knowledgeable mechanics there that will help you with any problem relating to the engine/wiring system. The internet is probably the most helpful, and most used tool I had during my build. Later, Corey |

On my Ninja 600 powered buggy I tried to use the stock Mikuni CV carbs... they were the biggest p.o.s out there. I could never get them all working correctly and not leak fuel. I switched over to Mikuni RS34's and what a difference, better throttle responce, more power and no fuel leaks.
