    Usually when you have to paint alum sheet, you chemfilm or anodize it to open up the pores in the material to make the paint stick better.

    Check out alodine. It is an anodizing agent used for aluminum on airplanes. Helps a lot for corrosion.

    I raced against this one before and all of these buggies beat the pilots at the orange event center in san bernadino
