Default Desert car.

Lets see if this works?
I don't have very many pics of my car but, here is one.
Built this 3 or 4 years ago with a stage 3-22R Toyota,091 Bus stuffed with all the good race parts,King bypass shocks, just finished putting power steering in it last winter. The Toyota puts out a couple hundred HP and eats a few sets of tires a season which gets a little expensive, so I broke down and spent some big dollars on those BFG race tires -(ouch)Everyone warned me not to buy them(weight reasons)and they were right, It killed the engine of it's power so I had to lower the cam timing.Changing the cam timing killed it for the street
but it still runs 70 - 80 through the desert so I guess it's ok, after all, it is my family car.
Right now I'm building a buick Grand National 231 V-6 for it .I think an extra 100 HP should make up for the changes I've made.
I also have a feeling the Toyota would go good in one of those SR-2 cars I see on here.

Thanks, I am still hanging tubing in this thing years later, Probably has something to do with my driving and this rock pile of a desert we have out here.My O'Lady keeps telling me I drive this thing like I raced my bikes, which could be part of the problem(She thinks I have a loose screw)It has done very well so far with the punishment I have put to it but, when I change the engine in it I can see I will have to hang a lot more tubing in it.
