I built some racks to hold my frames, this was a test batch to make sure I liked them, I will build more now to cover the entire back 50 foot of my shop. *I just love building stuff, whether it's a frame, racks to hold my frames, frame jigs, racks to hold my tubing, or a 30 foot long table used only for suspension stuff, I just love ta build anything, I have as much fun building jigs and things to construct frames as I enjoy actually building the frames, lol.....

I called Yoshi one day and asked him to go play golf with me. *He said "no way man, I got build stuff, I build so much stuff. *I weld so fast, I grind so hard, I just gotta keep building stuff."
So I went a played golf by myself. |

Looks good but one question?
Why do you have so many Frames hanging around? We cant make our cars fast enough and have a list so long where always like 7 cars behind? How can you have so many? Anyways as far as the shop goes very nice if only I could get the guys at my work to keep our shop as clean as yours. We have to stop working just to clean the place back up at the end of each day or else it would be a mess. We put everything away everyday and clean up. Its nice though to find what you need and not have to look for it. Anyways I agree I dont mind making jigs, seat sliders, cars, rolling tables and whatever you ask.. I just like to build also. Hmm maybe there's something about us kind of people that makes us who we are because we just like to build stuff. Anyways good looking shop I wish I had a shop like that for myself. ![]() |

It's obvious from those pics that Yoshi likes building sh1t. I've always liked building stuff too; I've built everything from portable saw mills to fith wheel trailers and from sidecar outfits to tools & machinery. Being creative has its drawbacks though - it hurts when you stop!

Soon as business pics up, I will hire someone to cut and notch the tubing for him as well as bend them. *That will take 60 percent of his workload down, which allows me to hire someone at $8 an hour for 60 percent of the current build time instead of the closer to $25 an hour he's getting. *This will cut cost and speed up production, and he will be able to do more chassis so he will make the same money, just have to do fitment and welding only and not do the part he hates. *I would then like to hire someone for assembly to help me and I could very easily pop out 4 rails a month, maybe more. * I currently have 5 rails being worked on at once. *2 are ready for powdercoat, but the customers make payments and haven't sent money in to proceed to powdercoating. *1 is leaving for powdercoating on Mon, 1 is a complete minus motor and powdercoat which is leaving july 23rd.,and the 5th is the side by side I am currently prototyping........ he is starting on a 6th. chassis on Mon. for a starter package order... |
