Opps... Remote Desktop FROM a tablet TO a laptop that still has an on-board parallel port, required for MACH3. USB adapters do not work.

Tube pro MK2 is shaping up nicely!

And the show demo is FINALLY fully ready, added a router to provide WIFI between the tablet and laptop at the show...
And it works!

MK2 needs to be operational ASAP, I still need some wild notch samples for the show. I fly out monday after next, better get BUSY. Using 25 pitch chain on the main carriage run worked great! Much lighter and less feed out per main sprocket revolution (which increases the total motor reduction).

MK2 is running!

9 degrees!

I'll post a few better videos soon.... Mk2 is SBA, nice and high to setup the start point. The main beam is very ridged cuts down on vibration.

Look at the 9 deg. notch, I believe that's the best fit your going to get with a 2 axis cutter. Meeting with the bendtech guys to discuss how they can tailor their software to make it run with this type of machine. Also we will be discussing the CNC bender and I'll be trying to get them to consider bending instructions as well.
I'm picturing a "Bend-CAM" add-in that makes notching and bending G-code programs as the ultimate goal. Bendtech is coming up in the world, they now support importing full step files.

For those who requested it...

Works pretty good for an HF pencil die grinder mounted in the thru hole air cylinder.
Yes, there is some wiggle do to some play in the die grinder and cylinder. Somewhere I've read there is some compensation to deal with the fact that we're actually dragging the burr. But it doesn't effect single points or making cross hairs.
Time to make frame kits in a paint by the numbers sort of way.
