Actually, the car he has is my ultra package which is $33,950 on my site. *Extra options he has are $1,800.00 for 4 HID lights, $300.00 for (2) lighted whips, $750, for the GPS installed, and $300.00 for the powdercoated rims. *Buying that rail through me would cost $37,100.00. *Reverse is an additional 3 or 4k depending on whether you want the diff or not. *He's selling a unit with very low hours for approximately $3,150.00 less than you could buy the same thing from me for, so it's actually a pretty good deal....

So obviously your selling to him at a cheap deal.
I would hope that if a MBN poster wanted to buy a rail from you, it would be discounted. |

It's called dealer pricing, and he has spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on advertising, a trailer, gas to get to shows in other states as well as hotel rooms and booth spots for 3 and 4 days at a time, his time setting up demo rides that require gas as well to get to offroad sites that are not exactly down the street, which is not even a guarantee of a sale, all of which makes me money, and before long will be purchasing 4+ rails a month. So yes, he gets a good deal (not cheap), because he has earned it and has paid his dues. *If i'm in a good mood, or slow, I do offer price breaks from time to time to people, MBN members or not, but that's for me to decide for each situation....

Manufacturers sell to dealers at wholesale pricing. That doesn't mean the public should get wholesale pricing too.
I'm sure Yoshi would work a great deal for any Minibuggy.Net members as would I.

Off season is the time to get discounts, just like the best time to buy watercraft and streetbikes is during the winter. *When people are slow, or wanting to clear out inventory for new models, things get discounted, that's they way everything works, from cars, to cloths, to tools, wait till the right time and you can get a discount or good deal on anything. *The deals this month are due to the 120 degree weather, Sept./Oct. through April is extremely busy for all builders, and it makes no sense to offer discounts when you can't even keep up with the people that are paying full price, and sometime more just to get it quicker. *June, July, and Augest are slow for everyone, so that's when the deals are....

Every builder is slow during the off season, i've talked to 3 other builders, and they all say the same thing, few sales between April and Sept, most of their business in the remaining months, which is about 6 weeks away. *Both Federal and myself have slowly started getting phone calls as the season approaches. *I got no calls for 2 months, and 3 in the last 5 days, 2 of which are getting approved for loans, after the SSSS. Federal will have quite a few orders, I have been told that most business that attend make around 30 percent of their sales for the whole year at that one show. I know of a guy that dropped 600k last year for a new coach, trailer, and a couple rails withen an hour at the show. The SSSS is basically the un official start for sand season buyers ...
