Wow, what did you have the reserve set at? It didn't meet it, even at $10k...

Used DS 650's are going every week for $3k...toss the engine and install a $2500 busa, and a DIY'er could have it done for $6k. Install new shocks and a bunch of mods...and still save a few k. Better yet, resell the engine on ebay for $800...somebody will be thrilled to put it on a buggy!

reserve probbaly was 10k, and he had his buddy bid it to 9999.00, thats what i do when i sell large items, no big secret!! 8)

Yeah, but then if nobody outbids your buddy, you get stuck with ebay fees unless they let you relist it.

yes but the fee isnt that large if you dont meet the reserve price, thats the key. 8)
