We build our plunging u-joint axles, i've used them for over 3 years now, never had one break, except when a customer didn't adjust his limit straps and heard the clicking for 5 days (over extending any joint for the right amount of time will break it). I've also sold quite a few sets to people, as well as another builder, and they love them.. I use them to get the travel numbers I want, they are machined to 40 degrees, we set the limits at 33 degrees, and standard 930's start clicking at 24 degrees, so it's all about the travel in my case..... |
